It gives me immense pleasure to introduce the twelveth batch of the Master of Tourism Administration students who are ripe for placement in the Tourism sector after two years study in various aspects of Tourism. In addition to the 28 courses that they have covered, the very fact that they were doing so in the cosmopolitan tourist town of Shimla, whose economy, culture and society is based on international & domestic tourism since the British Raj, makes them better equipped to deal with various tourists. The students have also had the benefit of two months on-the-job training in various tourism organisations which helps to enchance their theoretical knowledge. I am sure that the Master of Tourism Administration students would be an asset to any reputed organisation. The present C.D. is an offer to the tourism industry to select their personnel after scanning the candidates with their varied personnel profiles. We shall welcome on-the-campus interviews and also request potential employers to invite our Master of Tourism Administration programme participants for training and placement interviews. I wish all the MTA Students a grand success and bright prosperous future.
